Start Here — Daughters of the King: Our Story, Our Mission, and How to Help
Welcome to Daughters of the King
We believe honesty should be part of how a mission is presented. Daughters of the King is a growing, faith-centered nonprofit organization serving the Phoenix area through Random Acts of Kindness, youth and family outreach, community resource navigation, encouragement, prayer, and practical connections.
We Are the Navigators
Our role is often to walk beside people long enough to help them find the next right door. We may offer prayer, kindness, encouragement, temporary guidance, or a practical act of service—and when someone needs housing, food assistance, diapers, transportation, domestic-violence support, treatment, mental-health care, or another specialized service, we connect them to established professionals and agencies equipped to help.
What We Do Today
Our current work includes Random Acts of Kindness, Storey by Moses, Johnnie’s Friends, community outreach, donor and volunteer partnerships, and preparation for future programs. We serve on the level we are currently able to serve, and we do not present future plans as if they already exist.
What We Are Building Toward
The Just Breathe Program is a developing residential vision. Daughters of the King does not currently operate a group home or permanent public facility. Our long-term goal is to responsibly build the funding, licensing, partnerships, staff readiness, and infrastructure required to create safe, faith-centered homes—beginning with girls and later expanding services for boys.
Our Journey Matters
We did not begin with a building, a large staff, or a large budget. We began with faith, service, and a willingness to help. Our story includes changing seasons, limited resources, setbacks, lessons, relationships, acts of kindness, and perseverance. We want you to see that journey because transparency builds trust—and because every step forward has been part of the story.
How You Can Help
Donors, volunteers, churches, community professionals, businesses, prayer partners, and people willing to make meaningful introductions all have a place in this mission. Support may look like funding, supplies, gift cards, event support, professional expertise, referrals, volunteer hours, prayer, or helping someone new discover our work.
A Book That Gives Back
Why Should I Worry? My Father Is King by Simone Ikish Queen is available on Amazon, and $1 from each book sale is designated to support Daughters of the King Nonprofit Organization.
The Mission Never Stops
Our story is still being written. We invite you to learn where we have been, see what we are doing now, and help us build what comes next. Daughters of the King exists to serve with compassion, tell the truth about our capacity, connect people to help, and keep moving forward in faith.
