About Us
Helping women in crisis
With nearly 600 million cases worldwide and about six million fatalities, the COVID-19 pandemic was one of the most significant public health crises in recent memory. Our community was unable to provide the homeless community with shelter, security, or an ally. We believe in giving back to the community and helping those who are struggling with trauma, mental health conditions, or substance abuse.

Our Story
Founded in the peak of COVID -19, Simone was overwhelmed by the deaths. As the year ended, there had been more than 346,000 fatalities and 20 million SARS-CoV-2 infections in the country. In total, there were 83,832,334 cases and 1,824,590 deaths. In the weeks following Thanksgiving, we saw a resurgence of cases in some areas of the nation. Many of our homeless population lacked shelter, protection, or someone to advocate for them. Thoughts and plans to actively participate in change flooded her mind and heart.
Simone had always worked with assisting people as a caregiver, and a BHT. Always having the heart to serve and assist people and children in crisis. During our first introduction to the covid-19 pandemic, she felt overwhelmed thinking about how our community was in crisis without shelter, protection, or someone to advocate for them. Thoughts and plans to actively participate in change flooded her mind and heart. Simone founded Daughters of The Kings in 2021 out of her passion to serve women in crisis and the underserved in our community.

Mission & Vision
Mission-
Our mission is to help women in crisis by assisting all that concerns the heart of a woman. A woman is concerned about her relationship with God, her spouse, her children, her extended family, and her community. Daughters of The King have a heart and mindset of being our sister's keeper. We have selected ways to please God and soothe the woman's heart. We have formed a mission team that goes out to do community outreach by feeding the homeless and helping them with some of their basic needs. We also assist the elderly, children, and their families. We help individuals suffering from trauma, mental health, and substance abuse issues
Vision-
We wholeheartedly commit to the work we do with passion and dedication, transparently sharing it with the Phoenix community and inviting others to participate. On top of this, we challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to everything we do. This mission drives the continued success of DOK.
