Community Resource Navigator — We Help You Find the Next Right Door

Daughters of the King follows a Good Samaritan approach: we help with Random Acts of Kindness, encouragement, referrals and practical support when donated resources are available. We do not currently operate a public shelter, food pantry, treatment center, housing program, transportation program or crisis center, and we do not currently have public funding available to pay individual emergency expenses.

Resource availability and eligibility can change. Please call or check a provider before traveling. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

Start Here — 211 and Maricopa County

For food, housing, utility assistance, transportation, shelter and other essential needs, begin with 211 or Maricopa County's current community resource system. Maricopa County Community Resources

Food, Diapers and Basic Necessities

For emergency food and nearby distribution locations, use St. Mary's Food Bank. For diapers, period products and incontinence supplies, visit the Arizona Diaper Bank

Housing, Homelessness and Domestic Violence Safety

Maricopa County uses coordinated entry for people experiencing homelessness, with different entry points for adults, families, veterans, youth and domestic-violence survivors. Help With Homelessness | City of Phoenix Domestic Violence Resources

Mental Health, Crisis and Recovery

Arizona behavioral-health crisis services are available regardless of insurance. Call or text 988 in a crisis. AHCCCS Crisis Services For mental-health or substance-use treatment and rehabilitation providers, use FindTreatment.gov

Transportation and Bus Help

Daughters of the King does not currently issue bus passes as a regular public benefit. For transportation assistance, start with 211, the City of Phoenix Community Services Program, or Valley Metro

Faith and Community Connection — City of Our God

For people specifically seeking a Christian church community in the Glendale area, City of Our God, led by Lawrence R. Cole, is one option. Because meeting locations can change, verify the current location before attending. Visit City of Our God

What We Can Do Today

We can listen, encourage, help identify resources, make referrals, share verified community information, and provide selected necessities through Random Acts of Kindness when donated supplies are available. We will be transparent about what we can and cannot provide while we build toward the larger Just Breathe vision.
