Why Should I Worry? My Father Is King — A Book That Gives Back

Why Should I Worry? My Father Is King by Simone Ikish Queen is Simone's independently published Christian book. It is a personal author project and is not published, owned, or operated by Daughters of the King Nonprofit Organization.

Inspired by Simone's real-life journey, the story follows a young girl wrestling with the absence of her natural father and the deeper questions of identity, belonging, healing, faith, purpose, and peace. Through that journey, she comes to understand that she has always had a Heavenly Father — God — who is present with her.

Giving Back to Daughters of the King

Simone has personally committed to donating $1 from her book proceeds for every copy sold to Daughters of the King Nonprofit Organization. For example, 20 books sold means a $20 donation to the organization; 100 books sold means a $100 donation. This giving commitment does not make the book a Daughters of the King publication — it is Simone's independent project that gives back to the nonprofit.

Connected to Literacy Through Giving — Not Ownership

Reading and literacy remain at the heart of the program, with other creative and educational activities built around that foundation.

The Mission Never Stops.
